#ThinnerByThirty: What

The thing about me is this: I love my birthday. LOVE it. I celebrate it for weeks on end. The longest I've gone (until now) is three months, measured from the first time someone (aside from me) says/sings Happy Birthday! to the last planned birthday event (movie/meal/concert). Historically (since 2002) my birthday has fallen right around finals or semester-end projects, and no one else wanted to celebrate. So we had to either go early or late, and the tradition kind of stuck.

Well, I'm coming up on 30, and that's kind of a big deal. And since I'm kind of a big deal, I have epic plans to go all out all year long. Starting January 1, 2013 and going until December 31, I plan on having grand adventures. There could be some sort of bucket list involved. And to get ready for it, it's time to thin down.

That's it. I just want to thin down. I don't have a specific goal weight in mind, because I don't want to obsess over it. I want to be in the healthy range for my height, and mostly, I want people to come up to me and say,
"Wow, you look great! You've really lost weight in your face!"
Here's the thing. Since serving a mission for the LDS Church in Kentucky, I've sort of had an issue with my chin in that sometimes it's really big, and sometimes it multiplies into several chins. I want that gone.

I also want my feet to not hurt so bad after walking around for awhile, and while we're at it, the lower back pain can kiss it too.
